Elementary First Aid (EFA)

Elementary First Aid (EFA) gives seafarers the skills needed to take immediate action upon encountering an accident or other medical emergency on board, until a more qualified person arrives.

Target audience

  • All seafarers prior to first sea service

Prerequisites

  • None beyond medical fitness
