IMO GISIS — Global Integrated Shipping Information System
Hands-on familiarization with the IMO Global Integrated Shipping Information System (GISIS) — the IMO's online portal containing ship particulars, casualties, port reception facilities, MARPOL data, contact points, and ISPS information modules used daily by flag states, port authorities, operators, and seafarers.

Prerequisites
- Basic computer literacy
Register for and navigate the GISIS portal
Retrieve ship particulars, casualty, and PSC information
Use MARPOL Annex V garbage record and PRF databases
Locate ISPS contact points and security-level information
Use GISIS for company due-diligence and incident research
