Climate Change Impacts is offered within the STCW (Academic Programs) at Deep Blue. The course delivers a structured combination of theoretical foundations and applied practice, developed by serving practitioners and academic faculty with extensive experience in the maritime sector. Candidates build the technical understanding, professional judgement, and regulatory awareness expected of a competent maritime professional in this discipline.

Continuous assessment through written tests, practical / simulator exercises where applicable, and a final examination. Candidates must achieve the academy's minimum pass standard.
Successful candidates receive a Deep Blue certificate of completion. Where the course leads to a statutory certificate, it is issued in accordance with the relevant flag-state and IMO requirements.
